Fluke Help
« on: August 20, 2010, 10:37:35 AM »
Good Morning everyone,
Checked the weather report and looks like a great day tomorrow so I will be heading out with a few guys from work. I am going to try for some fluke in the ocean tomorrow since the bay has not been too promising. Any tips or hints on the ocean area? I leave from Atlantic Highlands marina and have heard about the sandy hook reef or the rocks? Any help on bait or areas would be greatly appreciated! Ive been living by the motto “Go Big or Go Home!” and would love to apply it to this trip. Also, what else is everyone catching out there as i am trying to make this a successful trip and if anything else is giving a lot of action out there maybe i will try that.
Thank you guys in advance!
-Jim

I've been fishing the rocks and have had better success with sea bass than fluke. Been targeting the fluke and catching some nice sea bass on the fluke rigs. That could be your second target. TT^
