Headed out early with my dad and son. Wasn't sure if we'd get out after a rough week with the boat - we had to get a new electric winch for the trailer, new washdown pump, new cast net, my dad ran the other one over, and I have 2 broken eyes on rods that my dad fell on.
Started in Chapel Hill and played catch and release with shorts for a while and put 2 just over 18" in the box. Moved out and Headed to the rough stuff. We caught lots of fish everywhere and managed 4 more keepers there along with 6 sea bass. Finished the day down the beach and put 4 more keeps on ice, including a 5# my dad got late in the trip. Headed in after a full day with 10 keeps and the 6 seabass.
