Sea Bassin the day away
« on: August 10, 2010, 09:26:01 PM »
What a nice day to be outside that miserably hot bay! Headed out at 05:30 with David, Matt, Andy and Danny for a day of Sea Bassing and what ever else swam bye. Flat Calm with an occasional 2 ft roller on the way out. Chatted with Kezsr on the way. Fished mostly 50-70 ft of water on the anchor until the wind dropped out. Constant action all day except for the slack tide. Fished a few pieces off the Rattlesnake most of the morning. Nice catch of Sea Bass, Blackfish and some Silver Eels. Wind dropped out so we went on the drift and had more Sea Bass along with some Fluke. No huge fish today but steady action. Water Temp 71.5 on the outgoing. Lots of pilot fish around the boat today.
