Out at 6am and looking to net bait. I threw the net once and had more than enough for the day. We headed out knowing that it would be a bay trip due to the weather. We started near the triangle where my dad put a keeper on ice but no other fish caught here. We headed towards the hook slowly and made some stops along the way but we only got a few shorts. Fished by the sp tc and navy pier and hardy caught anything. Moved to chapel hill and pulled 3 keepers and some shorts and then that died so we worked our way home. We only caught 1 more fluke but it was also a keeper. All keeps were between 18 and 19" so I guess some of those 17-1/2" are finally growing up.
