Well not much to speak of. Hit the beach just as the sun was peeking over the horizon and well were getting some good hits but nothing would stay on the hooks. We were using mullet and that seemed to be working for a while.
The wind was really cranking 15 to 20 with higher gusts out of the East. That made for real interesting casting. Used 6 and 8 oz but nothing seemed to hold, as the current was to the North today.
I switched to A17's with a teaser and had hits again but nothing to wright home about. The water was really churning up and at first the birds were working but as soon as the wind shifted to the South East everything shut down.
Drove up the beach abit asked a few friends but NADA.
Went to Ortley Beach and again everyone was coming off and calling it quits. Water looked real good but too early for steady stripers and the other fish went East as far as I can tell.
Oh well, we were off the beach by 11:30and in the driveway before noon.
Better luck next time. It looks like things will be churning for a few more days as storms move up the coast will influence the beach action.

BTW, the only thing we caught of any good size was a seagull. My uncle hooked him in the lower beak and had to use gloves to get it back through with out hurting him. Surgery over and he flew away screaming.
