Headed out for another day on the fluke grounds...Bob, Nick, Larry, Bill, Kool Kenny, and Bill rounded out todays crew!!!
Back to the sticky stuff... Was the only boat in the area... At least for a little while... Bucktails hit the bottom and the nice fluke started flying... 4 - 5 Keepers on each of our first few short drifts along with a bunch of shorts!!! Great action
Picked away pretty good for the morning putting a couple dozen keepers in the boat... Bill had his Limit by 9:45 and Nick By 10:00.
Lost the wind and drift... still picked at shorts with occasional nice keeper. Then Bobs Rod bent over with our first big fish at 7lbs 2oz... little while later Bob was back at it landing another even big fish at 8lbs 8oz!!! Congrats Bob!!!
Bite really died for a while but we bounced around picking a keeper here and there with a little flurry to end the day and top of the guys Limit!!!
Congrats to Bill who had the hot rod today he was on the double limit hotline and was high hook with 12 Keepers ( Only Taking A limit)
By days end we wound up with catching 39 Keeper size fluke to 8lbs+( 3RD 8LB+ OF THE WEEK) another at 7 and one at 6 1/2... with everyone taking home a legal limit.
Some Red Hot Fluking over 140 Keepers n 3rd limit catch of the week!!!
