Went to bed with the nice forecast of Nw 10 -15 flopping out to 5-10 2-4ft lol was a little concerned because wind guru had it steady ne and much bigger waves. Woke up in the morning to the change of small craft and bigger waves from Noaa... took a ride to the inlet and some of the biggest waves crashing on the beach and decided it wouldnt be a nice day for our fluke marathon.
Few the guys opted to hop on belmar fluke boat... couple of others went home while Suzanne and Eric in Pursiut decided to play with some fluke in the river since they had the day off.
Started east of 35 bridge picking at a few shorts and telling some war stories... Def Not the life we had a few weeks ago... but we got a few bites. seen boat after boat go out in the ocean and was second guessing my call.
Took a ride out the inlet to maybe play with a few seabass local... got out and the swell was huge.
Retreated back to river and played with a few more shorts until the wind and rain came on... seen almost all the boats coming in early so was happy we didnt go.

Had a fun morning given the weather even though it was all All shorts
