Fish Monger Fluke Finale Week in Recap
« on: September 06, 2010, 09:16:30 PM »
Well managed to get out between the storms and it was pretty much like the whole fluke season... Picked and Plucked and worked hard to scratch out a catch on the final days of our fluke season. We will be seabassin along with Blackfish and porgies from here on out... check our open boat thread for availability.

Tues 8/31 Had Ryan Scubanut and the family... Slow Bite to Start but we picked away at some nicer size fish up to 6 lbs. The Guys wound up with 15 Nice keepers.

Wed 9/1 Had Ed McGinnis and Crew aboard... tough tough day of fluking searched everywhere on finding shorts and a Handful of keepers... Our Lokk came up empty as we were only able to box up 5 Keepers to 5 lbs amongst lots of shorts.

Sun 9/5 We had No Net Bill and crew aboard... didnt know what to expect coming of the blow... surp[rising there was a good amount of life lots of shorts but some nice keepers... Bite compleatly shut off after lunch... Guys wound up with 14 Keepers Fluke along with a couple seabass and fluke.

Mon 9/6 Our Final day of Fluking...Had Scubanut and Fam, Cool Hand Matt Avid, and Bill... Morning was dead as could be... only few shorts and a Couple of Keepers... Got more life when the south wind picked up a bit... starting get some keeper and they were nice size 4-6lbs... INCLUDING LITTLE NICKY'S 7 LBER...Congrats Nicky!!!... South wind just got harder and hearded to we were done.. . We wound up with 13 Keepers...

Thanks all who fished with us during the Fluke season this year... Had some good days and some bad days... Looking forward to doing it all over again next year!!!

Bottom Fishing from here on out!!! Check the Open Boat thread For the Availability!!!

Thanks again!!!

Nice report Capt Jerry.

You and Capt Wayne had a much, much better fluke season than most. That was only because of your hard work and willingness to go the extra mile.

 chrz To your fine season.
