911 Seabass'n saving best for last
« on: September 13, 2010, 09:24:26 AM »
Hello,

I took my last trip out for the season Saturday ( I am not a cold water fisherman). My 7 year old daughter came with me and we had a blast,We went on a half day trip out of Point Pleasant, she caught the first fish on the boat, caught a double header of fluke thud(while anchored mind you) which we had to send back, and all around kicked my butt t^. The only saving grace for me was the 2 + pound Sea Bass I caught which won the pool. Score Card Lauren 3 Sea Bass 3 Fluke, Dad 3 Sea Bass and a big smile  ;D Can't beat a great day out on the water with the kids and in the end fishing for free with the pool money. I know he doesn't support the sight but I have to give Kudo's to Captain Bob Bogan who instead of rushing out to the fishing grounds stayed at the dock so we could watch the Coast Guard honor 911 with the flag raising to half mast it was very touching. clp

Thanks everyone,

It been a good year for fun but tough for keepers. I am just glad I was able to get my 3 oldest kids out a few times each this year. Watching them have a good time makes up for few if any keepers in the cooler. Can't wait till next year when my youngest will be joining us. I hope all you who brave the cold have a great season good luck!

Regards,

Chris
