Well we have the full moon between Thursday and Friday I guess it would be the harvest moon. But the seas will be a tad higher so if you are driving on the beach be very careful as the sand if very fluffy once again.
If you are going to venture into the IBSP you should be careful in the narrow areas especially A11 to A17 and north of A21 is still dicey. But the rest is starting to look pretty good.
There have been Bass being caught yesterday and weighed in at Grumpys as well as Betty & Nicks. Not much in size but they are starting. Choice of baits for the early comers was clams, and AVA's.
The surf is beginning to settle down nicely and by tomorrow it should be very fishable by just about everyone.
The water temps are averaging about 68 deg, and the weight needed to hold bottom is still up there from 6 to 8 Oz.
It looks good no matter what time of day you venture out as there were bass being caught in the afternoon yesterday so don't let the tides or moon phases hold you back. Get out there and have a good time.
I will be out there tomorrow starting in the mid morning to see what we can pick up. If you have been practicing on how to read the water now would be a good time for 2 reasons. 1. the seas were rough and some areas have opened up and new rips have formed. 2. the seas are still rough enough to pick out the cuts in the bars. Right now it is very visible, so get out there and give your senses a try.
Happy Catching
