Jersey's Fall Striper Run With Capt. Terry Sullivan Set for 4 p.m. Friday The 2nd Annual Fall Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo heads into FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood BlueClaws, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 24-26, 2010. This exciting and unique boating sales event will feature new and pre-owned boats, engines and accessories for sale by local marine retailers including a number of new 2011 models.
The show opens at 11 a.m. this Friday, with the action really heating up in the afternoon as Capt. Terry Sullivan of Terry Sullivan's Guide Service hosts a unique, hour-long discussion about Jersey's Fall Striper Run. A noted tournament-winning light tackle angler, an RFA supporter, and a member of Team Lowrance, Capt. Terry is presenting an informative seminar focusing on special tactics for targeting fall stripers along the Jersey Coast with special emphasis on using your electronics. Join Capt. Terry Sullivan at 4 p.m. on Friday the 24th and get the skinny on stripers, with lots of room for Q&A. If you've got fishfinder or plotter questions and want the lowdown on Lowrance in time for the fall run, don't miss this unique discussion on Friday at 4 pm!
This Friday, Saturday and Sunday's event is organized by the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey (MTA/NJ) and offers consumers and marine retailers alike an affordable venue for buying and selling boats at an easily accessible and popular location.
More boat lines, products and services have been added to the great lineup of exhibitors that will be at the show. Attendees will easily be able to climb aboard a wide variety of top inshore fishing boats from manufacturers including Boston Whaler, Carolina Classic, Carolina Skiff, Contender, Grady-White, HydroSports, KenCraft, Maritime, Maycraft, Regulator, Robalo, Sailfish, Sea Chaser, Sea Fox, Sea Hunt, Steiger Craft, Striper, Trophy, Wellcraft, WorldCat and more.
Admission is only $2 per person, 12 and younger are free with free parking. The event will run from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday. All proceeds from the event will go back to the Association to support its efforts to promote and protect the recreational boating industry in New Jersey.
