Met Lee at KMB at 5:45 & it was quite Breezy.
Lee says Art I almost called you to tell you to stay home that there were gusts to 29 MPH.
I said Lee I am not going to get any clams because we may end up turning around based on those winds.
We pushed off in the dark & took the bumpy ride East.Once we got on the Knoll we saw few boats hooking up but we had no bait.We jigged abit and I hooked up with a Cocktail Blue.We both Continued jigging and nobody else was home.Lee says Art let's run down the Beach.We did just that.There was a nice size Swell once we turned the hook.We ran down as far as Long Branch & we searched high & Low and never found what we were looking for.We even trolled to see if we could save the day but it was not meant to be.Lee never gave up Jigging and he was rewarded with a Sea Robin.
At 11 am were on our way back to KMB.
After that boat was docked Lee Cleaned the Boat & I cleaned the Fish
Hoping to get out several times this week but based on the Forecast I highy doubt it !
