Headed Out with John Gleason Charter for another day on the bottom grounds...
Started off local where we had good life yesterday afternoon and had very little life... few keepers but not even that many shorts...
Bounced around a bunch of different drops in different areas and didnt have much to show for it...
Got a Call from Tom and they were doing well with the stripers up north... so we took a ride to give it a try...
Got on scene to see the birds sitting on top water... bite was done... looked around hoping they would pop back up but to no avail
Spent a bunch of time trying to jig and it Looked like we were going to have one of "Those days" at 1 oclock we only had a few seabass in the boat.
Went back to seabassing and hit a couple of small rock pile and thankfully they were loaded with hungry seabass...Life was great but there was Loads and loads of shorts... way to many... but we managed to put 70 keeper seabass in the box!!! day saver!!!
By days end the guys boxed up 88 keeper seabass making for a nice cooler despite the tough morning!!!
Johns Crew was great as always!!! Thanks again!!!
