First Bass Ever! 10/28/10
« on: October 29, 2010, 02:39:18 PM »
The guys from Northwestern Mutual Financial decided to try a fishing trip for their annual 'boys' outing instead of the usual golf outing.  Let's just say most of the guys are golfers..   I was able to get bunker so our plan was to live line.  Headed out between the channels, had 4 guys drop lines.  Gary hooks up and lands a nice 35 lb bass - HIS FIRST BASS EVER! I know the guys are thinking "hey there's nothing to this bass fishin" (yeah right...)  That must have been the good luck bass.  We had non-stop action with the guys landing 14 keeper size bass, 1 short and 4 blues.  After a few hours, the 4' swells got to a few of them and we called it quits.   Great day for the boys and hopefully they'll consider fishing over golfing another time soon.

Now you did it. They will expect these kind of results every trip now. You'll have your work cut out for you in the future with this crew.  ;D

Really though, great catch and a fine way to start them off on their fishing habit.  t^
