I am thinking about hitting Ocean City next week will the Stripers stil be running? If so any suggestions on bait.

Welcome Aboard Becky,

The striped bass will probably be here till December so there is no worries there.  But with that said, they will sometimes be illusive to many.  You have to put some time in in order to find the right places that are producing.

My suggestion would be to get to know a good Bait & Tackle shop in the area you are going to target.  Like the others have said, bunker, clams and an assortment of poppers and swimmers would be good along with the metal lures like the AVA's Deadly Dicks and the Hopkins.  All of these will produce at different times.

Right now I would target the dawn and dusk times of the day and it the tides cooperate you should have a good time.
