Got out today with buddies Rick and John. Headed south and saw bird action right away, no takers though. Went on the troll and picked up a bunch of bluefish. Got a tip that the bite was on a bit more offshore so headed out to meet the fleet that was working the birds (Johnny thought every bird in the Garden State was out there!) Non-stop drop and reel for a couple of hours. Mostly bluefish, but did manage a nice keeper striper too. We left when our arms couldn't take no more.
Great day on the water with a couple of good friends.
