Beach conditions 11.10.10
« on: November 10, 2010, 11:36:52 PM »
The park is a little beat up beach wise but it is very passable.  We drove the entire length and even though it was tight in some places like between 20 and 15 it was all good.  I was surprised as they were forecasting a coastal flood advisory for today and tomorrow as well.

Just air down to your minimum and use your common sense and you should be okay.

If you are going to dead stick expect to use at least 10oz.  The current is really ripping in a north to south path so make sure you are ready for it.

As far as metals I was using AVA A27's and castability was just fine go a bit heavier if you really want ti feel the bottom.  Today anything in the green range of color as far as teasers go were working.  If you still are worried about the teaser holding back your casting ability take it off and most fish were being caught on the lures so it does not matter as far as this angler was concerned.

Thursday should be a carbon copy of today as conditions are about the same forecast wise.

Happy Catching

Paul
