Guys we had fish all in the high teens last night and again tonight.....The Barnegate Bay is loaded with big and hungry fish.
I have had the chance this week to see some of the bass being checked in at some of the local bait shops and I don't see that many fish in the upper teen class......
The back bay has some high water and the grass marsh in under water.....The tide is strong and with the North wind is blowing right up the center of the bay.
I tried a bunch of plugs tonight all in yellow with great luck on every one.....We have had fish from the high teens to low twenty's all week and the fish are just killing the plugs.....
Stop driving over the bay to get to the ocean....We all know what the conditions have been like fishing the beach the last couple days and there are tons of street ends and docks along the Barnegate to fish with lights.....You will never know if you don't try it.
Most of the areas I'm fishing with the kayak....Can be fished with out one just as easy.
I was fishing the other morning around a local dock and saw this guy loading his boat with rods and fishing gear..... So I figured I would be nice and said good morning....He asked how the fish was going.....So I just replied OK.....Then he said someday maybe you should get a bigger boat as he walked away shaking his head......I said to myself.....If he only knew how many Big bass I had this year under his boat and dock.
Well I can only try and point readers in the right areas.....I cant fish them all....The bay is way to large for little oh me.
Happy Fishing
