NETKEEPER - Sun 11/14 PM Striper Report
« on: November 15, 2010, 07:17:48 PM »
Had a small window to get out fishing on Sunday. MY buddy John the researchdude joined me and we got out to the Striper grounds by around 3:30, only to be met by SE winds and wind against tide conditions. Never could get more than a .2kt drift. Could have joined the guys trolling but we wanted to hook up on bait and artificials. Fished into the early darkness with only Spiny Dogs to show for our efforts. Read fished stacked up in the darkness but they just would not bite. Another network boat and I were using each other to validate our Fishfinders were not broken.

First Striper donut of the year. Have had a good run so gotta take the bad with the string of good.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
