Didn't fish at all last week due to the weather and was away this weekend, so I was really looking forward to getting out this morning, especially after hearing how great the fishing was (as you all know, the bass took everything). Got around the hook and found it to be a little sporty, but certainly fishable. Surprised to see quite a few boats being a Monday and all. Trolled around a bit, saw some marks. Finally got some hits...small bass. Tide changed and the fish shut off. Fished a few more hours with not even a hit. No birds in sight today. Even tried eeling in the channels --NOTHING! As the old saying goes, "shoulda been there yesterday...."
