Headed out for another day on the blackfish grounds... Tony Lovehislabs, John L, Cool Hand Al, Tony Triggs, Jim River Rat, and Pat rounded out todays all star crew!!!
Well the temperature is cold... But the blackfishing is RED HOT... Thought the last few days were good well today was even better!!! another day with lots of BIG BLACKFISH TO 11LBS AND LIMIT+
Headed back to the same spot we fished yesterday and it was another day of one stop shopping.
5 min after getting set up every was doubled over with some big blackfish got a super blast and they were all large... John had one over 10lbs, Tony 8lbs, Al 8lbs and 9lbs, and jim 9lbs!!! Mayhem!!! John had a double header on a slider rig with about 15lbs combined weight of the two fish.
Picked away at a steady clip all nice fish!!! The guys boxed up a limit pretty early in the day and went into release mode.
Al rod double over and up to the net came his 3rd big fish and personal best at 11lbs!!! A day will remember for a long time to come!!!
Bite slowed up a bit but we were catching and releasing plenty of nice size fish!!! Made a little shift and got another great super blast of fish including another nice 8lber for jim!!!
Couple guys were close for high hooks with around 30 keeper size fish... Everybody else caught a Load as well... and everybody had a few big ones!!!
By days end we caught Over 100+ KEEPER SIZE BLACKFISH with everyone taking home a legal limit and releasing the rest for another day!!! Catch Included an 11lber, 10lber, 4 9lbers,and a bunch 7-8lbers... Didnt keep any small ones All the rest are in the 3- 6lb range!!!!
Banner day!!! size of the fish the last week had been incredible!!!
