Anyone Sick & Tired Of This Wind?
« on: December 22, 2010, 01:04:31 PM »
Right wind, wrong speed!  All December long we've had the oh so perfect northwest wind only to constantly get blown out.  Have you ever seen so many days where it blew 30++.
I would love to be blackfishing right now, but I am sick and tired of this wind.  And the rest of the week doesn't look any better.  rgmn

Has anyone been able to sneak out this week?  Love to hear how you made out.

The winds shifted north a wee bit today and made it nasty according to a friend who was out today.Tomorrow is supposed to be worse as our charter was just cancelled with gale winds possible. Looks like next week maybe ? ;D

We have had our share of wind both in the fall and over the summertime.  :P

I bet once they put up all of dem dare windmill thingies the wind will stop for good.  ;D

Maybe the day after New Years would be nice so I can get out and fish.
Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

Yeah, maybe there was a small window today but it was still on the windy side.  Throw in a few more variables like....full moon, leftover groundswell and I don't think it would have been a productive day.
Hopefully this weekend coastal storm doesn't blow up and wreak havoc on the ocean or it's going to be another looooooong week   fcp
