Who said that Winter was "Cold"
« on: January 31, 2011, 10:36:19 PM »
Anglers:

Who said that Winter was "Cold"? Not this crew!! They 100% brought the "Heat" with them.

Bert called me a week ago and said that he and his crew had the itch. Do you have any "Openings"?? I worked the calendar and we were able to make it happen for them on the 29th. Well all I can say was the the stars were aligned. The weather was perfect, the seas were, perfect, the fish were perfect. All we lacked was the unicorn and the mermaid.

Made a 61nm boat ride south, and once I pulled back the throttles, the sounder lite up like the 4th of July. We were in 65ft of water and the fish were everywhere. Only 2nm off the beach. Lines go out and the "Smack Down" began. Doubles, Triples, Singles, on every rig I ran. We had whales, bait, striper, birds...you name it, it was there.

The guys boated their six man limit and each fish was in the 30lbs. range. Largest fish of the day was around 44lbs.

Excellent day on the water with a "Top Notch" crew. Thanks for a great trip.

A special "Thank You" to the guys over at G&H Lure Co. The Mojo's, parachutes and "NEW LURE" (coming out very soon) was 100% dead on. Folks if you're looking for a striper fishing arsenal. Give these guys a call. 100% MADE IN AMERICA, by hand the old school way this is it.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
