peacock bass and flats fishing in fl????

im looking to do a trip for both peacock bass in the everglades and do some flats fishing for snook tarpon etc......does anyone know the best time to go or where is a good med so i can do both in the same trip??

I've fished the Everglades for largemouth but not peacocks.  I think the best place to try for peacocks would be in the canals in Miami.

The last time I fished for peacocks was about five years ago.  It was early April and I caught 50 of them up to 5 lbs.  Gotta love it!

I heard that the peacock fishing in Fl isn't what it used to be because of a big winter die off a couple of years ago. 

You may want to make some phone calls to some Miami B&T's.
