Hey guys, long time no talk.. hope everyone is doing well!
Had a well written up piece before about my trip to the River but my laptop screwed up, and I dont feel like typing it all out. So here it was in a nutshell.
Went to the river few weeks back with my father, his buddy greg, and my sisters ex boyfreind. I caught the only 2 steelhead of the 3 night 4 day trip. Water was at 1800 cfs. Water temperature was like 31 degrees and the fish had lock jaw. Beads,eggsacks,worms,flies, single eggs, nothing was working. I let these 2 steelhead go and to live another day, week, or until I catch them again in a few weeks when I go back up.
Caught the 2nd one in Orwell brook, and the first one in a little creek branching out of the River somewhere behind Fox Hollow Lodge.
Stayed at Steelhead Lodge, (Best place)... Had pizza and beer all 3 nights. Wish I lived like that everyday, and stayed healthy.
