Cod fishing on the Gambler
« on: April 07, 2011, 10:21:49 PM »
Plan A was to jump on the 5AM Voyager trip this morning - unfortunately not enough guys showed so Plan B - head out on Gambler at 7.  That's 2 hours of sleep I will never get back  thud.
Fishing was OK, not great but OK. I caught one nice cod that won the pool and four big ling.  Another 4 throw back cod and assorted other beasties from the deep.  Weather was nice. Haven't be fishing since January so if felt really good to be back at it.  See everyone at the banquet.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
