New Shirt-!st Blood 4/11 NY Stripers
« on: April 10, 2011, 12:42:23 PM »
First off, thanks  Rod for getting my shirt up to me  during what I can only image was a very hectic week.  t^ Got Clamenza splashed and tied up in his slip in Kingson, NY Friday, but did'nt get out on the river until  this morning at 0600.. As the slim local bloodworm supply dried up, My buddy Jay and I trolled small diving stickbaits in the warmer waters of Rondout Creek on the high/outgoing for decent action on schoolie bass to about 22-23" .. they where jumping on plugs surprisingly well  despite the 46-48.5 degree water temp.. These early bucks are in pretty good supply already it seems, so hopefully the main run will be soon to follow.. Nice to get out for a couple hours  and pull on a few.. but I'm chomping at the bit to get Fluka in down there.. hopefully in the next couple weeks  t^  chrz

Thanks Fella's!  slt  Eddie, Fluka is actually already down there..I learned my lesson last year.. it was nice having the big boat closer, but the run shot past us quick, and while I scrambled to find a few fish up here, you guys where dropping the elbow on them down there.. so Clamenza will do for up here and  Fluka's waiting  up on blocks still in Keansburg.. We'll guard both ends of the river this year  >:D  waiting on them to bottom paint it and put it in for me.. hopefully  they get on it this week  t^      chrz
