Ever Wonder Where They Go?
« on: April 13, 2011, 07:28:35 AM »
below is a graph courtesy of EarnYourStripes that shows the migration runs of the Morone Saxatilis, commonly known as the Atlantic Striped Bass. It gives a good example on why the fall run is not as good as it used to be, Joe

Can you find a chart to tell me where they'll be at next weekend?  I'd really like to catch one!  ;D

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.

I used to fish on the Navel pier Leonardo with a guy I grew up with, who naturally worked at earl.

There really wasn't much guess work in catching the strippers out there, at least it seamed that way. We caught fish almost every night. He is no longer here so that ended my fun at the pier. Still I'm sure there are places as good I just need to put in time and effort.

But I have always wondered were the heck they go sometimes Joe. Hey if it was easy everyone would do it.
Nothing can be that bad that a day of fishing cant cure.
