The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife has announced the revised stocking schedule for four waters (Hackensack River, Rockaway River, Passaic River, and Russia Brook) which did not receive their allotted trout on Monday, April 18, due to extremely high water.
* The Passaic and Rockaway rivers will be stocked with this past Monday's trout, along with their original allotment, on Monday, April 25.
* Russia Brook, which was not originally scheduled to be stocked next week, will also be stocked on Monday, April 25, with the trout originally allocated for the 18th.
*The Hackensack River will have the postponed allocation added to the trout already scheduled to be stocked on Wednesday, April 27.
All stocking of trout is subject to change based on water and other conditions. Anglers should consult the "Updates" section of the Spring Trout Information page at
http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/trtinfo_spring.htm#updates for any future changes; the page also contains detailed information on the 2011 spring trout stocking program.
