RB Stripers 4/20 Eve.
« on: April 21, 2011, 05:27:13 PM »
Tombo and I had his HB2FAST out of Keyport last night for the incoming, with a half bushel of freshies and a tackle box full of good intentions.

Got set up at the spot just before sunset and chummed heavy. Water temp was 47. I got hit pretty quickly, he started peeling drag then GONE. Kept working the slick into the darkness, then Tombo's "Mr. deadstick letme play with my new fishfinder" pole doubles over. By the time he swings he busts the fish and rig clean off; Mr. Excitement.

Couple more nibbles but no action to really speak of. Didn't feel like cruising around so waited it out for a few hours then called it a night. The suck continues....
