Fished the Barnegat Inlet in LBI today for a few hours.  Blue fish and lots of them Snappers to Cocktail size.  Sorry no photos, but we all know what blue fish look like  :)

Good report jmd.
I have a buddy who fishes that inlet for fluke.  He does awsome with doormats using live spot.  He fishes off of someone elses boat.  I'd love to get out there with them one day.

Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.

I was fishing off the rocks today.  The water was pretty rough and I didn't see any fluke. It's a favorite spot of mine when I can get down there. Since I live in Old Bridge I usually fish  the wall in Point Pleasant or the surf in Long Branch.

Good report jmd41,

I fish IBSP most of the time.  I might go out for a couple of hours tomorrow.  I lived in Old Bridge through High School back in the early 60's (Madison Township High). lived off Throcktmorton Blvd.

If I haven't welcomed you aboard before, Welcome Aboard, I hope you enjoy the ride... TT^

Happy Catching

Welcome. Never fished LBI but I grew up in Old Bridge, on Mabaline Road, near St Ambros church. Have you tried fishing Lawrance Harbor,I've caught blues and snappers there?  Cliffwood beach I've done well with stripers earlier in the year.

Hi Twin Lights,

I was married in St. Ambrose 33 years ago.

Was a member of the SOB fire Co. for a short time before moving to Toms River.

I fished all over that area, Lawrence Harbor, and all points East.  We use to catch snappers in Keansburg by the old cannery. and there were an endless supply of killies in Keyport right there by the creek next to the fish store by the municipal parking lot.

That was a long time ago.  Much has not changes only our way of thinking.

Happy Catching
