We started our season out solid, with 3 trips, 3 limits. All clamming, all in Raritan Bay.
We have been tied up for the last two days as an impeller in the coolant pump (which was a newly installed pump) went. It's always something with a boat right? no matter how meticulous you are with it, it still throws a curve ball. Pump arriving today, trial run, and back at it tomorrow.

A great start to our season, Dave Weiss of Monroe Twp. and his crew joined us for our first trip of the season aboard the Benchmark44. We had steady action throughout the morning and pulled off a limit of bass to 36″ before 9am. Total for the day was around 50 fish total, most of which were keepers. This was a solid body of fish making thier move up the Hudson. We should have good fishing for the next few weeks as we see new waves of fish coming and going..

On Saturday, The Benchmark hosted the Walter Anusciewicz Party, after many years of coming out with us, again they had a great time! The bite we had wasn’t as fast and furious as Friday, but it was steady, with a pick of fish through each part of tide, keeping the guys in the game. By noon we had limit of Bass to 34″. The body of fish we are seeing now are mainly keeper class fish, with only a few shorts in the mix. The weatherman was a little off in the morning, but by mid-trip it warmed up and the day turned nice. Fishing is good!

Monday The Benchmark 44, hosted John Gargas’s party for their first ever trip with us. We, again, put together a limit catch of healthy Striped Bass. The guys did a great job, enjoying one of the few times a year they get together to fish, and laughs were had all day. Again, a pick throughout the day, provided entertainment until the end! Thanks for choosing us to take you to the fish, and we hope to have you aboard again!
