Headed out for our Ling trip Today... Barry, Chuck, Jimmy, Peter, Mac and Wilson rounded out todays crew.
Headed to the Ling grounds and as soon as we got setup we had ling coming up... some nice size too!!! pretty steady pick... if it slowed up ya just made a shift and would get a nice flurry. couple keeper cod in the mix as well. Thought were really gonna put a hurtin on them but our bite slowed up when the tide changed... but still picked one here one there and had a Nice healthy cooler... Had a Good flurry at the end before we picked up the anchors.
Decided to go inshore and give the stripers a try on the way in... Got to the grounds and seen birds right a way... picked at stripers every drift and then it broke loose with fish and birds splashin on top and mutilple hooks up. Boxed up a Boat Limit and released a bunch more before heading home.
Was a great day on the water nice mixed bag!
By days end we Caught 116 Ling, 2 Keeper Cod, and over 20+ Stripers keeping a Limit and releasing the rest!!! Had a few blues and assorted eels as well.
Crew was Great as usual!!!
