2011 FLUKE OPENER IN THE SQUAN

Not a good start but a nice day. Drifted the out going in the area of the area of the canal to Treasure Island water temp 58 saw 1 fish come over another boat (keeper)then moved to the train bridge water temp 52 tried the creek on the Manasquan side. Nothing. Tons of blues around Inlet and canal. Used Bucktails and Gulp along with killies. Try again Friday

Good try. It's pretty early yet. Hopefully another warm, sunny week will get the water over the muddy bottom warming quite a bit.
