Ran 2 trips on wed....left Highlands at 6 a.m. With the Jamie Schoop charter onboard and started clamming with instant fish over the rails on the outgoing tide...then the wind started and we had solid 4-5 foot breakers taking them on the stbd side making it a bit unpleasant for a couple of hours but the fish kept biting as the charter roughes it out....with 9yr old amanda catching a 16lb and 20lb bass for the biggest of the day. We limited out and did a couple of drifts for fluke putting our first keeper of the year in the box. Great job!
Rolled out at 2:30 p.m. With the John Whitney group aboard...saw the Islander on the way out (I need your # Mike) and went bavk to where we had them...caught 1 nice striper but it shut off after that so went on the troll until the tide was outgoing. Marked a lot of fish but no takers....reset on the hook where i wanted to be and game on for a solid hour and a half filling the cooler again with fish to 16lbs. Way to hang in there on a tuff start fellas!
