Short Report...
« on: May 18, 2011, 10:16:55 PM »
The rain and surf has taken its toll on the fishing.  There were plenty of guys out there but the bite has dropped way off.  Some nice bass have been caught but not like the past few days.

Once this slop clears the bite will pick up but as it gets later in Spring I would start thinking about using poppers or any lure that swims and makes noise on top.

Good luck this weekend.  Get out there and report.  Without anglers on the beach there is no report.  If you have any good pictures from the week don't be surprised to see them in the article.

Happy Catching

Paul

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.

Good luck to you too Paul.  t^

I saw Woj, Lisa and the kids last weekend at the weigh in for our NJH tourney. Everyone is doing well. Kids are getting BIG!

I have not seen Lisa and the kids since they moved but Andy and his father stopped by about a week or so ago.

We are trying to get him out on the beach to try his luck.  The problem with him is work.  I would love to get him to the inlet to wrestle with the blues.
