The Brian McFadden charter was on board the Bounty Hunter today and Capt. Paul set out at 6:30AM in search of the Bunker. We cleared a rough Inlet and turned north in a dense Fog in search of bait. We had scattered reads but found the mother lode off Spring Lake and the baits came flying. We landed our first 2 Bass while Snagging. The first Bass was a nice 30 Pounder followed in a few minutes by a 29 Lb. fish. Both were taken on 15 Lb. line. With a full Livewell we moved a short distance and went on the drift where we added 2 more Bass to the catch. One at 33Lbs. and the final one at 25 Lbs. After that we were finished for the day. We had 5 more hook ups but failed to close the deal on all 5. It was one of those days when anything that could go wrong did. Brian and his crew finished the day with 4 nice fish in the box and he is looking forward to his return trip next week.
