when snagging baitfish with weighted treble hookes would you leave the baitfish in the weighted trebel hook or rehook in with a regular hook?

My Policy.. If I have no fish in the boat " Or as a Capt. Said to Me whne I asked the same Question.  You don't have your limit yet.  Leave the fish out with the snag hook.  when you reach your limit.  bring it back in and put it on a fish finder rig t^

But there are times the fish want the live bait on the bottom t^

I don't know this from experience..  I ask the right people these questions t^

keep it out their but if your not useing i wire leader and blues are on them your bitten off quick but the wire is less favored for bass
and if your off the beach or shore walk them
seems to work better then staying in one spot

For me it depends on the situation. If there are bass on the bunker pod by all means, leave it out there as is. If, on the other hand, you are just making bait, snag and put in the live well til you have enough for your fishing, then move off to the spot you want to target.

There are also times when you don't know right away if there are bass on the pod. Then, I usually have some keep the bait on the snag hook and have others on the boat continue to snag and fill the well.
