Iam a Newbie With An ATV...Hmmmm.....Question For ya

Thanks for reading ,,,Well i just moved to bayville nj, and iam a big fisherman but mostly from the sandyhook area,and you cant drive on the beach with anything,,now that iam gonna be fishing island beach state park,i need a little info,i have a 2005 dodge 2500,,,,is this ok to drive on the beach? and i also have a Kswasaki Brute Force 650 4x4.....can i take it on the beach instead of my truck?..thank you for reading my post

the truck is fine as long as its 4x4 DONT FORGET TO AIR DOWN YOUR TIRES 15 psi is a good mark although at times its good to drop down to 12...


the four wheeler on the other hand is a no no sorry

Although you can't take the atv on ibsp there are plenty of
places to go in bayville ( still not legal in most places like OBM pit but not many will bother you )

i cant wait to see how good the striper fishing is

That's it in a nut shell.  But beware that some tires are inflated to higher ratings.  The tires I have on now are aired up to 35psi and I deflate them to 15psi, where as I had Michelins on at one point (did not like the ride) which was a much higher rated tire and I think I lowered them to 25psi.

Check your tire pressure and check as to the manufacturers recommendations.
