Manasquan Inlet 8/2
« on: August 02, 2007, 06:30:11 PM »
Fished the Inlet today with my cousin Dom (lotta fishing). He caught an 18 inch fluke. I caught two 17 inch fluke. A Dozen shorts throughout the day. I had one that was probably 19-20 inches on, but was not able to net it, as it came off at the top of the water. Fished from around 945 am until 345 pm. The tide was going out so the fishing slowed down towards the end of the day thats why we left. It was a scorcher out there and we sizzled up like raisins. Thats a good thing though. Fishing was good and we had fun. The dredgers were out towards the end of the Inlet which was kind of annoying but what are you going to do. Theres the report guys, pictures also.

Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
