Fishguts 6/28 mixed bag wreck
« on: June 28, 2011, 06:51:32 PM »
Another fun day on the water. Today I had the guys from Dock Outfitters in Seaside Park. Scott,Ron, and Mark got to enjoy a nice solid day of inshore wreckfishing. A real nice mix of fish with even our first pollack of season coming up. Quality again today was awesome on both the seabass and ling with a few of both hitting the 3 lbs mark. Todays bonus was 4 keeper cod to 24". We cut the trip a little short due to rain but nobody seemed to mind. Todays totals for the 3 anglers were 50 keeper seabass,20 ling, and four legal codfish. The guys also released 8 short codfish, a dozen out of season tog, tons of short seabass and a short pollock. Its not a wide open bite yet but just a nice steady grind that adds up to a full box by the end of the trip.
