Had Larry and the boys for a day of bottom fishing.

Despite the slower bottom bite this year the guys had over 100 keeps a couple weeks ago and were back looking to do it again. They do plenty of fluking on their boats up in the bay so the we're ok with passing up the fluke bite of late.

Got setup and it was perfect conditions to drift... started local on some junk and the rods we're bent over pretty quick. Unlike trips so far this year they were all.nice size fish... non measure keepers up to 3lbs with some fat ling mix.

Everything today had good life... bounced around picking away at nice size keepers at every piece putting together a nice catch.

By days end Larry and the boys boxed up 107 seabass up to 3 3/4 lbs along with 23 ling and 1 keeper fluke.

Nice change of pace and it was great to see the bigger seabass cooperating.

As always Larry and crew were a blast as always.

Thanks again guys!!!
