Headed out for another day on the fluke grounds. Mark, Ralphy, Darren, Ryan, Had and Capt Birch of Fish Gut Charter Fame rounded out todays all star crew!
Headed back to the grounds that been good to us for the last couple weeks.
Got setup and had some bites but where we had mostly keepers every other trip today was mostly shorts.
Nonetheless we bounce around and found a Patch of keepers picking a couple every pass amongst alot of shorts...
When the bite died we were in search mode again... seemed everywhere we went u would get a few keepers but nowhere u could keep repeating and make a day out of. Bites the first few drifts and then it would be all shorts or the would just stop biting and on to the next pile.
The guys fished hard and we stuck with the grind bite... slowly putting a nice cooler. Had to earn everyone today!
Despite the Slow Pick the guys managed to put 31 Keepers to 5 1/2 lbs in the box and a Couple off nice seabass.
So in all another great day on the water with plenty of fish to go home with!!!!
