Mike (Hollywood) Rivera chartered us for a birthday trip for his Brothers Lito and Dave. Rounding out the crew were Friends Mike and Mike. Yep that's right, 3 Mikes on board today.
Started out fishing close to home to catch the outgoing with little sucess and only one keeper to show for it. The water was too warm and we kept working our way South until we found cooler water. Got a steady pick going and boxed 16 to 7 pounds before the bite died off. Headed back North to one of the wrecks we started on the morning and boxed a pair of 5lb fish before heading to the barn. Mike had a slow start but came on strong by days end and the big fish for the day. Lito either boxed his limit or was a fish shy.
A lot of Ball busting and laughs today with some good fishing to boot made for a fun day on the water despite the invasion of the black flies. In the end we boxed 19 Fluke, 4 Sea Bass, a ling and a Gator Blue.
