Well here it is... after 4 days of having many people stop by and make an offer(we wanted 3300 or bo we had 4 offer's of 3000) on our beloved vessel that was for sale
.. We,me/woman, talked and decided to take her out crabbing in matawan/keyport area to say goodbye to her! :'(altho we never said yes to the deal, just a"we'll get back to ya".
After we launched her she ran perfect(as to say" dont sell me"
) it was a perfect evening altho the tide was high and were moving on(lol)
we set out. Made a run up matawan creek(yes were the shark attack was in like 196?)
We dropped 2 cinder blocks overboard and set 4 collapsable's(me) and 4 hand lines(michelle/woman) as i lite my smoke she had one crab, then another then..well u guessd it was one after another for a good 40 mins. we got them good!
bunker in traps, chicken legs on lines.
As the terrible bitein bugs came out we threw the bait overboard tucked it all down and decided to take "Ever Enough" for one more "blast" in the bay..
SHE RAN PERFECT
50.1 mph wide open, trimmed to the max,the water was glass
, as i took her in and we started talkin?
Michelle and I decided we will NOT sell her(yay)
she is a perfect boat and we have 100% confidence in her.plus all the work we did.
We look forward to seen you all out in the ocean for the remainder of the 2011 season.
hopefully we will get our bulefin trip in soon! good luck to you all and hopes of full fish holds to all.
Oh yeah, i forgot to say crabbing is Excellent in matawan creek.
