Fishguts 7/26 wreck trip
« on: July 26, 2011, 08:45:34 PM »
Today it was Andrew ,John and Nikki  back out to the inshore wrecks for more tasty bottom fish. We had a little left over sea from yesterday but it fell out early. Some strong tide today made for a picky bite and many baitless hooks. The guys grinded out the day picking a few here and there with a nice mix of ling for added bonus. Final count for 3 anglers on the day was 40 keeper seabass to 2.2 lbs, 2 legal codfish,0ne 21" fluke and 10 ling  for a nice pile of tasty fillets. Also we either saw one very fast logger head turtle today or there must of been a half dozen of the those monsters out there.
