Barnegat Bay/Holgate Inlet FLUKE Saturday 8/13/2011

Left the dock around 9am, water was dead flat. By 10:30am I lost count somewhere around 48 boats, despite all the boat traffic and wind the drift was very slow. Fished there with 3 shorts till around 1:30pm. Stopped for a bite then headed down to Holgate near the inlet where the action was a complete 180, had a fish on nearly every drift 8 shorts and 2 keepers. All in all a long, tiring day but always beats working back north  t^
