On 8/16 with I ran a bay/ocean combo trip for Kenny and Jim. The scheduled charter opted not to make the long ride from home with a very questionable forcast. We started out hitting some inshore wrecks with real good action on mixed size fish. A call from a charter boat to our north informed us that some evil sea conditions would be heading our way sooner than later. The anglers were hammering a way on a nice box when the North west wind switch to North and sent us packing for the bay. A few drifts in the bay produced some real good action on short fluke with one nice fish dropped boatside. Called it a very short day and got in before lunch. 2 angler total was 31 keeper seabass to 2.3lbs and 100 plus fish released for a nice morning. I think we got lucky in our area as the wind was much worst earlier to the North.
