Lack of fish 09/10

Took the boat out today only because I have not been out in over a month. Didn't expect much as far as fishing goes and wasn't disappointed. Tried a few spots from the 47 can all the way up to the ammo pier with not even a nibble from the flatfish. Some of my buddies were working on police boats on the Hudson River so decided to take a ride to say hello. A lot of debris in the water so took a slow ride. Got to see the USS New York near the Bayonne Terminal.Went up by the Statue of Liberty and saw my buddies for a few. Headed back and saw some really strange cloud formation near Keansberg. Stopped and snapped a pic then headed for the ramp. Nice boat ride if nothing else.

Thanks for the report.  I saw those clouds too and called my wife to see if it was raining back on land.  Nice pics.
