improving conditions
« on: September 13, 2011, 05:16:39 PM »
I was out yesterday and never caught a fluke. today the water looked much cleaner and we fished the same area(sandy hook beach) we caught 5 shorts and 1 keeper (19 inches) also saw a nice fish caught on the boat next to us on the drift (4-5 lbs)  fished the candle sticks early (before the tide was ripping) and caught 3 sea bass 1 being a keeper. entering the marina I noticed the flag was not at half mast, so I thought they heard about our keeper fluke.  any way hopefully things will be picking up soon, very soon.
